Rann is 55 years old and a two time cancer survivor – once at 26 years old and again at 35. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for twenty years, and after subsequent secondary problems from the surgeries and many hospitalizations, she retired in 1995. She became certified in Interior Design in 1998.

Raised in the deep southern part of the United States by a dad who was a great cook, and a mother who was a musician, she loves both good food and music! She is comfortable in the kitchen and enjoys reading recipes. She enjoys most music, especially classical, symphonic, orchestra, synthesizer and classic piano, guitar, percussion, and bass drums, and quite likes the inspiring music by Hillsong Australia. Worship is the style of music she enjoys most.

To keep her mind sharp, she enjoys challenging puzzles, especially cryptograms, and to relax she enjoys movies (especially old ones). Her favorite two old movies are My Fair Lady (Audrey Hepburn) and Spartacus (Kirk Douglas). Her top two favorite modern movies are The Last Samurai (Tom Cruise), and August Rush (Robin Williams).

She was “mom” to Jasmine, a white Maltese-Poodle, who was the love of her life for 18 years (1992-2010). Now, she is “mom” to Bo, Jasmine’s little brother, a black and white Shih-Tzu she rescued in 2009.
