I am a freelance writer and a cradle Catholic whose religious and spiritual journey truly took off during my college years. While attending Western Carolina University, I became very active with the Catholic Campus Ministry and have been quite involved in church life ever since then. Ive attended countless retreats and missions, served on the team for a couple retreats, acted as a sponsor for R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults), and participated in several Bible study groups. I also had the wonderful opportunity to be involved in the process of bringing Landings (a reconciliation ministry dedicated to welcoming returning Catholics home) to my area. Additionally, I designed, edited and helped write a parish newsletter for a few years. Currently I work part-time in a local parish office. My degree is in English with a concentration in writing and editing, as well as a minor in psychology.
Through my knowledge of the Catholic faith and my own spiritual journey, I hope to create a site that is of interest to both Catholics and those seeking a deeper understanding of Catholicism.
