Civil rights is a topic that has a home close to my heart. I believe that everyone was born equal, and we need to protect this and ensure that it exists for everyone in the world we live in today. By looking back at the past, we can see how to proceed with a solution for problems that we face today. I believe we have an obligation to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and equally, no matter what race, culture, gender, sexual orientation, abilities, and so on. I hope that by visiting the civil rights site, you will come away with fresh knowledge, thoughts, and understanding of issues we have faced in the past and are facing today.

I am a mother of one, and live in New Zealand with my partner and child. I value learning and knowledge, and have a keen thirst to always know more about the world and its issues. I have enjoyed writing from a very young age, and wish to use this talent as a way to ensure that voices are heard. It is all too easy in the world we live in to ignore what has happened and what people are trying to tell us is happening. I am not afraid to share my view and opinion of situations, and encourage others to do so.

I love the non-profit sector, and help non-profits not only in New Zealand, but in other countries also. If there is some way I can help, I always try to put my hand in and do what I can.

I am currently working as a freelance writer on the side of my normal job, and am working towards writing full time.
