Kristina de la Cal is a full-time, middle and high school Language Arts teacher who works with troubled youth at an alternative school. Having earned a degree in Psychology, Kristina uses her understanding of human behavior and cognition to guide her efforts both in and out of the classroom.

In addition to teaching, Kristina is also an enthusiastic writer who enjoys producing useful and engaging content with real-world advice that readers can easily apply to their daily lives. She spends much of her free time providing dating and relationship guidance to friends and strangers alike.

Kristina’s first book, Breaking Up Without Breaking Down, is a break up/divorce survival guide that was inspired by a personal experience with heartache and published in October of 2007. Her story of survival and subsequent discovery of true love serves as an inspirational testament to the resilience of a human heart.

Currently, Kristina resides in Miami, Florida where she is very happily involved in a healthy, committed relationship.
