Welcome to the Disabilities site on BellaOnline! My name is Jeanetta and I have had the pleasure of working as a nurse with the developmentally disabled for the past 18 months. I have also worked with the disabled in other capacities.

I was interested in writing for this site as I have been concerned that there is so little information on the subject that is useful for nurses in the field, caregivers and the disabled looking for resources. My intent is to make the site as comprehensive as possible.

I appreciate any suggestions for topics and constructive input that help enhance this experience for all of us. In the meantime, thank you to all the families of the disabled, the caregivers who work each day to help the disabled and to the disabled for the privilege of working with you.
