A little bit of info about me: After burning out after ten years as a clinical social worker, I decided to find a job in the travel industry. Visions of exotic destinations danced in my head, and before long I was sitting behind a desk booking other peoples trips to faraway lands. Well, that wasn´t exactly what I had in mind, so, after moving to Atlanta, GA, I found my “dream job" as an adventure travel consultant/tour escort focusing on Latin America, a job I enjoyed for many years.
But there was still a great big world that that my husband and I wanted to explore, so I began to focus on planning our own trips, ones that would eventually take us to so many wonderful countries and remote corners of the planet.
Europe has continually held my interest, and I never tire of exploring the diverse countries, landscapes and culture that the continent has to offer. From ancient civilizations to year-round sporting activities to world-class shopping, Europe offers something for everyone.
When I’m not traveling or planning our next trip, I spend my time in Atlanta volunteering with refugees and enjoying life with my husband and two rescued dogs. Please drop by my website at http://julesfredrick.wordpress.com/ for more thoughts on travel, food and life.
I hope you enjoy our European Travel site. Please feel free to ask questions or comment so that together, we’ll have a fantastic journey.
Cheers!
