I’ve experienced wanderlust all my life and travel and writing are two of my passions, so becoming a travel writer comes naturally to me. While I was born in the Massachusetts, I grew up in: Brazil, Portugal, and Guatemala and lived, most of my adult life in Colombia and Mexico City. Despite my international background, I was always a “Yankee” at heart so I’ve happily returned to New England, which I use as a launching pad for my travel adventures.

I’m an award-winning travel editor and a member of the Society of American Travel Writers, New England Writers, New England Travel Writers Network and the American Society of Journalists and Authors. In addition to having written hundreds of articles for newspapers, bridal magazines and in-flight publications, I’ve authored and contributed to many guide books and I was a weekly travel columnist for a Connecticut daily newspaper for many years.

I’ve had the privilege of visiting many romantic corners of the world and I look forward to sharing with you some of my favorite honeymoon destinations.
