A little about myself:
I´ve been involved with horses for over 35 years. I have trained, shown and competed in equestrian events. I´ve dedicated my life to horses as they are my biggest passion in life. As an added benefit, I am able to help owners with holistic horse care methods. As a trainer and coach I am devoted to continuous learning, always gleaning whatever I can from great Horsemen and Women who have proven their skills. My sister tells me that all I do is eat, sleep and breath horses and, I do. Even though I have a son, whom I dearly love, I still treat my horses like they are my children. Through my journey with horses, I’ve developed my own training and coaching style - I call it, “Passionate Horsemanship!” You can find more about me and what I have to offer on my website Passionate Horsemanship
I grew up in New Mexico and my love and passion for horses started at a very early age. I caught the horse bug from my grandfather, who rode Lipizzans in the Calvary. The knowledge I gained from my grandfather and the experience of working with my own horses made it possible for me to help friends and neighbors with their horses. My gift with horses was soon recognized by all who knew me. As a young girl I competed in local 4H competitions and playdays, as a young lady I went on to compete in breed shows and also had an opportunity to exercise race horses.
In 1995 I began Intensive Training in Natural Horsemanship with a well known clinician. During the first 5 years of the Natural Horsemanship Training I completed 2 years as a student instructor. Soon, I began coaching and helping other students achieve greater success with their horses.
Sharing my love of horses and teaching people how to communicate more effectively with their horses is my greatest passion because their success is my success. My goal is to help every student achieve a special connection with their horse, the same as I share with all of mine.
