Hajimemashite! In Japanese, that means "Nice to meet you!" I´ve had a passion for Japanese culture for as long as I can remember, so writing about it just seems to come naturally. I also have a bachelor´s degree in Journalism from Georgia State University, where I am currently studying the Japanese language. In February of 2006, I placed first place in the Japanese Speech Contest which is hosted by the Japanese Consulate in Atlanta. I am also one of the founding members of GSU´s Japanese Language and Culture Club, and I have spent the past two years as the PR/Promotions Officer for the club.

Hopefully soon, I plan to go to Japan for a year to teach English to Japanese students. I am a collector of Japanese anime, manga, movies, television dramas, and music. I´m excited about sharing with you all that I know and would be happy to hear from you as well!!
