My name is Karen Joyce Williams and I´m a native New Yorker, having lived everywhere in the state from Brooklyn to Niagara Falls. I am a writer and an art and antiques dealer. With my husband, I travel off the beaten path and the back roads of New York State scouring for treasures, beautiful spaces and true peace of mind. What we find are historical treasures, geologic "amazements" and incredible people, working, exploring or just reinventing themselves all over New York.

Most of my friends call me KJ, and you can, too. When I´m not here at BellaOnline, I write everything from New York-based fiction to personalized travel packages for families with special needs. I am the principal of a strategies firm working with nonprofits in transition and a senior partner in an arts engineering and design firm where I specialize in creating and building eco-based artist living spaces in, you guessed it, New York. We set up our base camp at TOM TOM, the Long Island arts and culture collective.
