From the windswept prairie to the North Dakota badlands, from the Rocky Mountain Front and eclectic Missoula to the Black Hills of South Dakota, she believes that the region is an under-experienced place that has a great deal to offer to society. She attempts to capture the spirit of the west and define a sense of place in her writings while luring people to come and explore what she has found to be the perfect marriage of isolation and community.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, the challenge of gardening in the arid Northern Plains, and working with her Tennessee Walking horse, Argo.
