Journalism was my career of choice out of college but I soon realized that I enjoyed "creating" as much as reporting. As I allowed myself to delve more into the art world I learned that my art style is very much like that; I create something new instead of reporting exactly what I see. I love to create new things, try new products, experiment… Obviously experiments don’t always work, but I always enjoy the process.
I have been stamping for about five years now. I have a collection of stamping items that will soon take over my house! I make and sell cards and gift items for the home, and I teach arts and crafts classes locally. Since I work with various mediums it is not unusual for me to mix them together; I will often add watercolor or acrylic to my stamping. Many times a watercolor painting that didn’t work out will become a beautiful background for stamped art.
I hope that this site can become “our” site. My goal is that you will keep in touch and together we can decide content. I will share my ideas with you and it would be great if you, in turn, would share your ideas with me.
