Hey there! Iīm Secola Edwards and welcome to the BellaOnline Twins Site. Iīve experienced the gamut of emotions in the 17 years since that wintry Michigan day in March of 1991, while raising my twins; a boy and a girl. Fear eventually gave way to excitement, exhaustion, joy, anger, pride, frustration, confidence and an inexplicable, unconditional love.
Itīs my job to provide parents, grand-parents and caregivers of twins and multiples as much information possible to help your experiences lean more toward positive than negative. No parent is perfect, nor is any child and those who love and care for multiples get an added dose of all that comes with raising children, whether good or bad. It always helps to be able to look to someone else who has been there, whoīs walked in your shoes, as I have the past 17 years. So check this site often and lean on me, thatīs what Iīm here for.
My goals for the Twins Site include creating a space for parents and caregivers of multiples, from pre-birth to puberty and beyond, to come to trust and rely on for advice, camaraderie, support and resources.
Secola Edwards lives in North Texas with her twin teens Taylor and Dixon. Besides writing, Secola also loves sports, especially tennis and football, following current events and the financial markets. She is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelorīs Degree in Communication.
