Willow Figurines Review

With Christmas approaching rapidly I am finding myself frantic with worry. My daughter’s baby is due December 14th and I will be taking care of her two-year old. I have several writing commitments to keep up. I also adore Christmas and I love to decorate.

I have several nativity sets. I have a huge Christmas Village. I have collected these items over many years. Last year I didn’t decorate because my Dad passed away during December. My Mother just recently passed away.

But, this year I am going to decorate because I know my little granddaughter will love, all there is Christmas. I imagine you can deduce I teach her about animals and pets. Most important I teach her the true meaning of Christmas.

Pondering many times in times past, I have often wondered where the fascination of exotic pets began. Conceivably the first shepherd befriended a lamb; perhaps the very day that become known as Christmas.

My niece got me started with the Willow collection. My first piece was a woman with her arms outstretched with bluebirds perched on her arm. The first piece of the Willow Tree Collection I bought is when my daughter had her first child. I couldn’t think of anything more appropriate. OUR GIFT

Not anything can represent the splendor and purity of Christmas except for Artist Susan Lordi's sculptures the Willow Figurines. Each unique piece is to help heal in one way or another or to celebrate living and life’s wonders. They are crafted to inspire in simple and pure gestures.

As with all miracles each person, each animal, every exotic pet is a wonder. I often just sit and look upon the figurine my niece bought me, knowing she knew my innermost contemplations and how well she recognizes who I am and my position in maintaining life’s values. This year if we find it in our budget I would love the nativity Willow collection. There is something about the wholesome sweetness of the Willow collection that fits in so perfectly with all that is Christmas and the nativity. The Christmas Story Figurines By Willow Tree

You can put together the pieces you love most. The single set piece of the Willow Tree Nativity Set is a beautiful stand alone item that won’t cost a fortune. I think I will start here.
