The Creative Genius In You

The Creative Genius In You
Each of us is creative in our own way. Find what you are good at and explore it and excel in it. So many people say too quickly, “I’m not good at anything.” You couldn’t be more wrong. If you truly have no idea what you might be good at, sit down and write out a list of the things you like to do or would do if your had time. Keep writing and thinking until you’ve identified your hidden talents. Don’t settle for less than you are capable of. As Helen Reddy wrote in her song, “You are woman, you are strong. You are invincible.” Never accept believing anything less. What will you do today to make you a better and stronger woman? Nobody is going to do it for you. How bad do you want it? Then do something about it – today!

Below are quotes on creativity. Some better than others but to each their own. Read them over. Remember that when your read what others write/think, you are looking for something to kindle a spark in you that wasn’t there before. When that happens, you have one more tool to becoming all you want to be.

Creativity is the ability to take one or more thoughts and turn them into a new thought. Never miss an opportunity to expand your thoughts. The mind has endless capabilities and we should never stop expanding it. Just like your computer, update your memory and processing every chance you get. Take your mind where it’s never been before. You won’t regret it.

Leaving you with a final thought:

“Each of us is an artist of our days; the greater our integrity and awareness, the more original and creative our time will become.”
― John O'Donohue,
