Chickadee Photo Album - Variety Photos

Chickadees are perhaps one of the friendliest birds in the US. They can easily be trained to come down and eat seed from your hands, and love both mixed seed and sunflower seeds. They´ll even nibble on thistle or suet if it´s made available.

We have so many chickadee photos that we had to break the album up into three sections! These are a variety of views of the cute little chickadees.

This next one needs a little explanation. I had the screen window fully closed. I had only half-closed the OUTER glass storm window. The moth landed on the inner screen window. The chickadee then landed on the OUTSIDE of the outer glass window and was hanging onto it. He then tried to hammer THROUGH the glass he was hanging on to get to the moth ...
