2003 CMA nominees announced Country music is getting ready for it's big night on November 5, 2003 with Vince Gill hosting once again. Toby Keith leads the way with seven nominations, including both Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. His album "Unleashed" has also been nominated for Album of the Year. Will this be Toby's year? We'll have to wait and see. Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow have been nominated for their song "Picture" under the Vocal Event category, along with Jimmy Buffett and Alan Jackson for "It's Five O'clock Somewhere". Neither Faith Hill nor Shania Twain were nominated for any awards, which may be a surprise to some of their fans. The Dixie Chicks were nominated in only two categories, Vocal Group and Album of the Year, despite having the 3rd highest grossing tour of the year. The late Johnny Cash is up for 4 awards, Album of the Year, Single of the Year, Video of the Year and his collaboration with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in the Vocal Event Category. Check out the complete list of nominees and let us know who you think will win!
