Every dream of taking a cruise? What if you could take a cruise with other people like you with similar interests and feel safe and comfortable. Maybe even comfortable enough to live in your bathing suit for the whole week?

Jean Clement has have been organizing cruises for plus size ladies and men and their admirers for the last four years. She works for a full service travel agency (Your World Travel in Palatine, Illinois) that offers everything travel-related. She boasts about being able to put together any package you need to anywhere you want to go. Jean is a "jack of all trades" -- travel agent, hostess etc.

Every year she organizes a seven day BBW cruise with a new exciting destination each time. The type of ship depends on the type of cruise and where it is going. Jean and her co-hosts Amy and Maxis are always on board the cruise to assist travelers as needed; including planning on board activities and games for guests. While there are other passengers on the ship that you co-mingle with there are also three specific events throughout the week just for BBWs. On the last day before the ship ports there is a final meet and greet.

BBW Cruise may choose a different cruise line each year depending on the destination so the prices change depending on the ship. But an inside cabin ranges from $450 - $580. When I asked Jean what she thought the best room was she had this to say, "To me, the best room is the balcony room. I love to sleep on the balcony. The moonlight is shining on your face; you wake up to the sun shining down on you. It is so beautiful." Well, I'm sold on the balcony. Jean tells me the balcony currently runs at $779.53 per person.
