20 Bucks Can Go a Long Way
Guest Author - Vanette (Vannie) Ryanes

The new $20 bill is all the rage. So here are a few ways you can put that new, or old $20 to use by making improvements to your house.

_Install a dimmer switch. Change the ambience in your house

_Paint a bedroom.

_Install a spa showerhead for a relaxing way to start the day.

_Weather-strip drafty windows to save money on heating bills.

_Revitalize hardwood floors with a special cleaning product designed for wood.

_Refinish a table or a chair.

_Hang new miniblinds on a bedroom window.

_Bring your lawn back to life in the spring by fertilizing this fall.

_Install a smoke detector in a hallway or add security lighting to the front yard.

_Tune up your snow blower.

_Spray paint your lawn furniture; give it a face lift.

_Plant flower bulbs for a splash of color.
