Sony PSP Handheld coming in Late 2004
Getting bored with your GameBoy Advance and Nokia handhelds? Sony is coming out with a new handheld, called the PSP, in just a few months! PSP stands for PlayStation Portable, and it is intended to be similar to the Sony PlayStation (One) in graphic quality.

The current estimated release date is November 2004, just in time for holiday giftgiving.

The Sony system is sized like a widescreen TV with a 16x9 ratio. It is 4.5" long with the gaming controls on the left and right of the main screen. Its resolution is 480 x 272 pixels. It has a USB port to connect with computers and PS2 machines, and can play stereo sound and MPG4 video. The cartridges that the PSP will use will easily fit an entire movie or two on them!

That would make the PSP a great gaming system, an easy way to store and play all your MP3s, and even a great way to bring along your favorite movies or anime to watch while you're out and about. Start saving your dollars now, so you have enough to buy this new gaming system when it's released!
