As a mother of twins, I always welcome the opportunity to discover new products especially designed for parents of multiples. When I found out that there was a new maternity line called “For Multiples,” I nearly fell to my knees. After having to wear my husband's clothing in public because my belly was so enormous, I could not help but think to myself “Where was this maternity line when I was pregnant?!”
The origin of For Multiples is a very sweet story. Jim Fitzgibbon felt bothered by the fact that during such a miraculous time in his wife's life, she did not feel pretty enough to leave the house due to her awkward fitting maternity clothing. That feeling never felt more obvious than when the Fitzgibbons were told they would be welcoming their second set of twins! It was at that point that they decided to revolutionize maternity wear and create quality, affordable, and best of all-fashionable clothing that any (very) pregnant woman would be proud to wear. Jim and his wife then meticulously researched the maternity market, as well as the needs of several Mothers of Multiples (M.O.M.s). After doing their homework and seeking out the advice and input of well known designers, they created custom crafted items to fit those bigger bellies that also remain tapered to fit the areas surrounding them. Their items are also competitively priced-a likeable and important feature with maternity wear being worn for the short term.
The problem with most maternity wear is that one size usually fits all. This is not the case with For Multiples Maternity. Even though you do get bigger all around, by the time you are 5 months pregnant with multiples you start to hit a wall. You must either buy maternity wear that fits nicely around the arms and too tight around the belly or you buy a size or two larger and end up looking like a potato in a sack! For Multiples’ designs are made for the rapidly expanding belly and have a more tailored look. With the correct accessories, these clothes will have pregnant mommies asking for one more night on the town before the babies arrive and the work begins!
For Multiples was created in 2011, and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. It is made completely in the USA. They also have a wonderful sizing chart that guides you completely through the purchasing process. To view all the products, or to get additional information, please visit www.ForMultiples.com.
