IRS Abortion Audits H.R. 3As if the war on choice, on abortion, on women, was not bad enough, now the government wants to get the IRS involved. 227 members of congress are behind H.R. 3, which allows for abortion audits by the IRS. Their goal is to insure no taxpayer funds or healthcare coverage is used to pay for abortions. What it really does, besides disgusts me to the core, is open up the possibility and high likelyhood that victims of rape or incest now have to tell their stories to the IRS. Funding for abortions under these circumstances would still be possible, but now many women may be forced to tell their horrific stories to government agents, to prove the funding they received is justifiable. With all of the problems in the world, the illnesses, the starvation, the natural disasters and wars, our government sees fit to put money time and effort into abortion tax audits. What makes it even worse is the fact that many of the perpetrators who committed the crimes against these women will go free, without punishment, and without any harassment from the government. Many of the laws allowing these criminals their freedom have come from bills supported from these same congressional representatives. I decided to list the sponsor of this bill as well as supporting organizations. Below the article, you will find a link to a list of the 227 co-sponsors. I ask of you my readers to spread the news, write these government officials, denounce their efforts, and stand up for women. Laws against women’s rights are being passed daily in large numbers. Hundreds are up for vote. We cannot allow our rights be taken away. We cannot remain silent. In that link, you will also find the representatives that are not in support of this bill, as well as the non-supportive organizations.
