Punctuation Day and Other Unusual HolidaysWhy did I write an article on September's little-known and unusual holidays? Maybe you want to add something just a bit different to your story. Have one of your characters celebrate one of these holidays. Even better, have your character become maniacal about the holiday or holidays your character chooses to celebrate. Use your imagination with each one of them. Some of them I elaborate a little on, some of them I don't. You are a writer, so have fun researching each one of them that catches your eye. Instead of listing these unusual holidays by date, I decided to list them by category and just tell the day it is celebrated.
