Create a characters who has dreamed of being a world-famous newspaper columnist since he/she was a child. The opportunity finally comes around and he takes it. What he encounters in this life isn't exactly what he expected, though. What happens?

International Amateur Radio Day - If you are an amateur radio operator, then this is your day! The Amateur Radio Union was founded on April 18, 1925. This day celebrates not only their founding, but also recognizes the contributions to society that amateur radio operators make, especially in times of emergency.

You could write an historical fiction story about how amateur radio became popular, how it has been used during times of emergency.

International Juggler's Day - Have you ever tried to juggle several objects at the same time? If you decide to attempt juggling, I would suggest you start with something that won't break, especially if you are as untalented as I am. This form of entertainment has been documented since medieval times, and was probably around even before then.

This day celebrates the skill of jugglers, but not just those who can juggle balls or flaming sticks. This day also celebrates those who can multi-task, or juggle several jobs at one time. That kind of juggling I am talented at.

National Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day - Why would anyone want to wear their pajamas to work? This holiday was created to relieve some of the stress created by filing your taxes. How will your boss feel if you walk into work wearing your pajamas? There are some companies that celebrate this peculiar holiday, so check with your boss to find out. If you work at home, you can go to work in your pajamas every day!

Create a character who has an extremely boring job. He/she decides to make work a bit more fun and a bit more relaxing by showing up to work in pajamas each Friday. The boss is not pleased, at least not to begin with, but soon every one who works at this place, including the boss, is showing in their pajamas every Friday. What happened to cause them to begin to do this?
