Heritage Makers Review

Heritage Makers Review
Heritage Makers is an online program to help you preserve and celebrate your family stories and heritage. They believe in the concept of celebrating “stories” to help bring family closer together. Their website states they are the first and fastest growing storybooking company in the world!

I first heard about Heritage Makers thru my friend, Rick Springer. He is one of their Consultants and on his website page he writes, “Welcome to my website! Please look around and investigate all of the ways you are able to preserve your family heritage, photos and stories in wonderfully bound books. Heritage Makers is a dream come true for me. It allows me to preserve and share the wonderful stories and photos of my family and my ancestors, and work at home with my family. Please call on me for assistance! I am eager to help!” I am sure all the Consultants for Heritage Makers would agree with his philosophy.

Some of the products they offer include
  • Storybooks
  • Cards
  • Canvases
  • Photo Gifts
  • Digital Scrapbooking
  • Home & Office items
Their online tutorials and classes help get you familiar with their publishing system and provide tips on how to get started. One of their upcoming classes is scheduled for Thursday, November 1, 2012 7:00 PM MDT. Updated Christmas Gifts and Greetings by Lynda Angelastro and Roxanne Buchholz; This holiday season, focus on giving gifts and greetings that will be treasured forever.

Once you design your project, Heritage Makers will publish the book or photo keepsake for you at very reasonable cost. It is a great place to get a jump start on your holiday gift list. I had the opportunity to view some of the Heritage Maker products and I really like their Photo Gift section. My favorite was the “Playing Card Deck.” Here is a description of this great product:

Enjoy card games of all varieties with all of your family and friends. Play old favorites like “Go Fish” or “Memory” or create your own family-styled game. Game cards are customizable to fit any occasion or any game.
  • Deck contains 54 cards (additional cards $0.50 ea.)
  • Customize front side of card with your family photos and stats
  • High gloss finish with rounded corners
  • Great for birthdays, holidays, or family reunions
  • Includes durable plastic storage case

Some Consultants, such as Rick Springer, will blog about Heritage Makers products and upcoming specials. Rick’s blog is called StoryHeritage. It is a blog for sharing information about his family and his Heritage Maker's and Scentsy businesses Have a look to read about product discounts, upcoming events, stories and photos. Let him know what you think!

For researchers that have collected pictures and stories along the way, this is an excellent resource to show them off and share with family and friends. It is also an excellent gift idea! One of my goals is to one day start a project and share it with my family. This will be a great place to start.
