Elections are coming up soon! The stickers are nice, but something a little more permanent that can be re-used year to year is also a good thing. These pattern make fairly large badges at 31 beads wide in Delica size 11s, just over 2 inches. In size 15 Delicas they will be a lot smaller.

They are done in brick stitch working from the longest row up and then down. After it's beaded, you can either stitch it to a felt, Ultrasuede or leather backing with a pin back or you could turn it into a necklace by stitching a bail on it, or by attaching straps.
These designs are done in the U.S.A. flag colors of red, white and blue, but there is also a blank with just the words "I Voted" marked to design for your own country or to fit your own style.

Right click the images to save to your hard drive. Each pattern is a separate file. Print at the size that's easiest for you to see and bead from. Since black doesn't always show well next to dark colors, the patterns have a light pink and light blue for the red and blue. The blank pattern is in black and white, and can be colored using colored pencils, or in a graphics program.
