The Inspiration and Music Conference sponsored by Praise 103.9 in Philadelphia and State Farm Insurance will take place on Saturday, March 29th at the Philadelphia Convention Center. The conference will feature several events including workshops, contest and concerts.

One popular event at the conference is the songwriters panel sponsored by BMI.

BMI will present the "How I Wrote That Song" panel for aspiring songwriters. Invited panelist will include Donald Lawrence, Erica and Warryn Campbell, James Fortune, Israel Houghton and Radio Executive Kyle Glover.

The panel will be moderated by BMI Vice President, Catherine Brewton, and gospel music recording artist Isaac Carree.

BMI’s “How I Wrote That Song” panel will celebrate gospel songwriters and serve as a platform for the panelists to discuss the process of writing, producing and performing hit songs.

BMI’s “How I Wrote That Song®” is open to members of the public. The panel discussion will be held from 3-5:00 p.m.

Other workshops that will be held at the conference will cover a multitude of topics including; Single and Saved, Marriage Beyond the Vows, All You Need to Know about the Music Business and Faith and Finances.

The conference will end with a grand finale concert that will take place at Liacouras Center, 1776 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA. Some of the best artists in Gospel music are set to perform.

Scheduled to appear during the concert are; Israel Houghton, Hezekiah Walker, William McDowell, Erica Campbell, Zacardi Cortez, Tamela Mann, Byron Cage, Donald Lawrence, James Fortune, Smokie Norful, Isaac Caree, and Pastor Charles Jenkins.

The concert is free to the first 1,000 Inspiration and Music Conference participants who purchased tickets for any workshop. After the first 1000 finale concert tickets can be purchased separately.
