Honeymoon Packing – His and Hers Checklist You've got enough to think about in the days and weeks leading up the wedding. Making a list of things to bring on your dream vacation doesn't need to be one of them. Below, find a checklist of items you don't want to forget to pack if you're honeymooning on the beach or in the tropics. Cut and paste this list to a Word document, and then tweak it to customize for your own vacation plans. Personally, I have a difficult time packing "light." I've gotten better in the past few years by packing coordinating clothing for beach vacations: shirts and shorts that can easily mix and match. (Of course, at the last minute, I often find myself throwing in that cute little top or those new comfy sandals...) If you can pare down to nearly the essentials, it will make schlepping luggage through the airport just that much easier. It will help you keep your hotel room a bit neater. And who wants to be putting clothing away when you arrive at your dream destination. You've got better things to do! Here's a list to get you started: Hers Shorts Capri pants Light long pants Tank tops Halter tops T-shirts or short-sleeve shirts Sweatshirt Sweater Underwear Bras Skorts Sandals Socks Sneakers Flip flops Water shoes Pajamas Sexy lingerie Bathing suits Swimcap & goggles Workout shirts Workout shorts Workout tanks Book light Makeup Face cleanser & moisturizer Razor Shampoo & conditioner Medicines & vitamins Jewelry (nothing valuable but your wedding ring!) Purse Visor or beach hat Little, fun gift for new spouse. See this article for ideas. His Underwear Shirts Shorts Pants Bathing suits Sandals Sneakers Book light Dopp bag of toiletries Little gift for new spouse. See this article for ideas. Both/Misc. Sunscreen Cell phone charger iPod charger Snorkel gear Tote bag to carry towels to beach or pool Address book & stamps Adult games or toys Carry on Books and magazines Snacks and cereal bars Water bottle Antibacterial wipes or hand sanitizer Travel documents, such as airline tickets, hotel confirmation and passports Money (perhaps some exchanged beforehand) Camera Cell phone Ipod What did I miss on this vacation packing list? Use the contact form on my bio page to send me an email and let me know. Or start a discussion in the Honeymoon Forum. I'll add your items to the list! | Related Articles | Previous Features | Site MapContent copyright © 2008 by Kara Williams. All rights reserved.
