SCOTT RIGGAN TO HOST THE JESUS FILM WORLD REPORT
Recording artist Scott Riggan has been chosen to host "The JESUS Film World Report," a daily sixty-second syndicated radio feature. "The JESUS Film World Report" which will launch on May 1st, will offer inspiring true stories of how the love of Jesus is reaching into every corner of the globe. Listeners will experience the accounts of missionaries worldwide who are sharing the story of Christ with people who have never before had the chance to hear.
Servicing will be every other month via CD. Each CD will contain 40 sixty-second clips that can be incorporated easily into virtually any radio format.
Even though only samples of the show have gone out, positive reviews are already rolling in. Legendary radio host Warren Duffy comments on the show:
"For the last 25 years, The JESUS Film Project has been one of the best-kept
evangelism secrets in global Christianity. Now, the ministry is 'going public with stories from all over the planet where God has used this anointed motion picture to change lives, communities and even nations. Well produced- succinct -faith affirming - I recommend The JESUS Film World Report to every radio station in America."
Scott Riggan is best known for his current radio success with a remake of the classic worship chorus I Love You Lord. This song introduced Scott to the people at the JESUS Film Project who instantly saw his heart for ministry and missions. His work with the group allowed Scott to take a trip to Tanzania with the JESUS Film. Scott explains, "While I was in Tanzania with Paul Eshleman and the JESUS Film team, I saw first hand some of the amazing things that God is doing around the world. It has been humbling and honoring to be a part of this amazing organization. Now this radio show opens so many more doors. I believe that the stories we feature on JFWP will inspire listeners to become involved in world evangelism, and to consider missions in their own neighborhoods."
The JESUS Film, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, is the most-watched film in history. Over 5 billion people in every country in the world have experienced the film, which uses the book of Luke as its script. The film has
been translated in over 830 languages and is often the first time viewers
have ever seen a movie or heard about Jesus.
