A documentary just in time for Mother's Day. While checking my e-mails a few days ago I opened one from WOMEN WORKING 2000, after reading it I became excited and knew immediately that I needed to share information about their newest documentary with my Work & Family readers.
The title of the documentary is Pure Magic: The Mother-Daughter Bond and will be shown on PBS stations.

When a woman gives birth to a daughter, she finds herself beginning a unique relationship-first with an infant, then, as time passes, with a little girl, a woman-to-be and at times, someone who is very much like herself.
Pure Magic: The Mother-Daughter Bond explores the powerful bond between mothers and daughters that constantly changes over time. Whether difficult and complicated or based on friendship and admiration, it is one of the most important relationships in a woman's life.
Katherine Cheng is featured with her four adult daughters, Amy, Anna, Alice and Audrey. Their story is complemented by a chorus of diverse women's voices that includes real estate entrepreneur Barbara Corcoran; television producer Susan Fales-Hill; and Carol Weston, an expert on teen girls.
