Josh Gracin's debut CD came out, captured the #2 spot on the country music charts and I can see why. This American Idol is great!


Since coming to the attention of the country on the TV show "American Idol 2", Josh has been busy putting together a CD and finishing out his tour of duty with the Marines. Putting together a CD of this caliber and completing his duties on base couldn't have been easy, but Josh's self titled debut CD is top notch.

From the first single, "I Want to Live" to the last song "The Other Little Soldier", there is no filler here. The first time I heard the CD, I have to admit Josh reminded me a bit of Trace Adkins, who I love, that voice will get you every time.

"Nothing to Lose" is a toe tapping song, it's hard to stay sitting in your chair with out getting up to dance when listening to this one. And how he sings the lyrics without getting all tounge tied is beyond me, they go by really quick.

"The Other Little Soldier" is about a little boy whose father is in the military. With everything going on in the world today, it can bring tears to your eyes with the emotion in the song.

All I can say about this CD is WOW! I haven't taken it out of my CD player since I got it, I keep replaying it. I highly recommend it as an addition to your CD collection.
