Two country stars made the news today, Charlie Daniels and Mindy McCready, but for totally different reasons.

Mindy McCready reportedly was arrested today for an incident in February regarding a faked prescription for pain medication. Allegedly Mindy was not a patient of the doctor whose name appeared on the prescription. Reports say that she was arrested at her home, booked at the county jail, then released on bail. Mindy's hits include "Ten Thousand Angels and her number one single "Guys Do It (All The Time)". She has been reported to be have been involved with Dean Cain at one time.

Charlie Daniels song "This Ain't No Rag, It's a Flag," has reportedly upset people of the Arab community in Dearborn, MI where he is scheduled to appear this coming weekend. Allegedly the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee takes issue with words in the song that are/can be used as slurs against Arab, Muslim or anyone else that wears a turban. Charlie is reported to say that the song is not directed at anyone but the turban wearing terrorists. Charlie Daniels has had hits such as "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" and "The South's Gonna Do It Again."
