Quilt Blocks of the States Series
Guest Author - Kim Noblin & Judie Bellingham

Welcome to our Quilt Blocks of the States block series. Over the next few months, we'll be taking a quilting tour of the states through patchwork. Rotary cutting methods will be given whenever possible, but there will be a need for foundation paper-piecing and template piecing for some patterns.

Each block will include a pattern for the block, an example of the block set into a quilt, and a coloring page for you to print out and experiment with color placement. You can easily print any page by clicking on the "Printer Friendly" button found at the bottom of the page. Blocks requiring templates or foundation paper-piecing will be presented as a .pdf, so you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you don't have this software, you can get a free download from the Adobe website.

Please note that these are block patterns only. Cutting instructions and fabric requirements for quilts will not be given. Also, not every block will be the same size.

Here is the index to our Quilt Blocks of the States series. Check back often for updates!
