Army wives are at a distinct advantage when it comes to the amount of information that is available online. In addition to a wealth of websites covering the Army lifestyle, there is also now a weekly radio program as well.

Tara Crooks is an Army wife who hosts a weekly program called Army Wife Talk Radio. This program covers a wide variety of topics including deployments, dealing with finances, parenting, marriage, starting your own business and much more.

Tara started the program in March of 2005 "on a whim" as she says. She had experience in running online businesses and regularly hosted a radio show about work at home moms. The program has just recently switched to a live format and is no longer recorded ahead of time.

As an Army wife herself who is currently enduring yet another year long deployment, Tara has a great understanding and empathy for the hardships, struggles and uncertainties that we all deal with as Army wives. Her shows are fresh and offer many tips on dealing with this lifestyle and the issues that surround it.

In addition, she has a blog that is regularly updated with contributions from herself as well as Star Henderson, Mel Shaha and Heather N. The four of them together make a great team in giving much needed perspective to issues surrounding life as an Army wife.
