Get Noticed! Jewelry

Jessa & Natalie Lemke

Natalie & Jessa Lemke are not only sisters and best friends, they are a jewelry design team with a shared passion for a dream. To understand this dream you need to know where they came from. These sisters grew up in a close knit home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where making things with your hands was a value that was impressed on them by their crafting parents. Their parents owned a crafting and woodworking business where they shared a dream; creating projects together, side by side. The girls learned from their parent’s example what a character-building experience and worth-while endeavor it is to pursue an interest with passion. As they grew older, crafting became a tradition they cherished as a shared interest with their parents.

The Lemke family

As the Lemke sisters became adults they developed a dream for their future of creating a crafting business with their mother. They wanted an outlet where they could combine their talents and a place where they could all grow new skills together. The three of them talked of starting a shop on Etsy. However, their mother was suddenly diagnosed with cancer which caused all of their planning to be put on hold while she fought her illness. Tragically, the cancer took their beloved mother from them before they could fulfill their dream.

Natalie & Jessa with their mother

The strength and grace their mother exuded during her struggles inspired the sisters to follow their ambitions and start a jewelry business together, Get Noticed Designs, LLC. They opened the Etsy shop that they had always dreamed of in her honor just a few months later.

When planning the shop, the Lemke sisters wanted a way to include their mother in the business and to support others who have been stricken by cancer. They decided to donate one dollar of every sale from their shop to the American Cancer Society. Today, they have proudly donated nearly $1,000.

Being business partners continues to strengthen the bond between Natalie and Jessa. Their father jokes about how alike they are though they each have their own distinct personalities, interests and style. Natalie’s flair is a little dressier and classic, while Jessa is the quirky one with an eclectic and colorful flavor. These complimentary styles are reflected in their jewelry designs. Natalie creates more practical and versatile pieces, while Jessa’s are the bold, uncommon designs. Their specialty is in versatile mixed-media jewelry, combining dressy with casual, vintage with new, and trendy with classic. Recently they have also added gift items to their shop.

The mission of their company is to offer one-of-a-kind jewelry at reasonable prices while raising money for a good cause. Their jewelry can be custom-made-to-order and they would are happy to alter any of their items on Estsy to suit your style and size. They believe in offering excellent customer service and free first-class shipping on all orders shipped within the U.S. Next time you need some jewelry to complete that outfit and to help you stand out in a crowd, try a design from Natalie and Jessa. They promise you will Get Noticed! You can find the Lemke sister’s design at www.getnoticed.etsy.com.
