Here are some awareness colors that have been used in jewelry (typically bracelets) to signify certain diseases and other societal concerns. Colors that are recognized as being associated with particular issues can help raise public awareness of those issues, which can lead to increased funding of related research and charitable organizations. (This list does not attempt to be complete, and some colors may change in designation over time.)
