Orange Peel Blessing Ceremony

Guest Author - Lisa Shea

There are all sorts of reasons that your home may need a freshening. Maybe you just had a rough argument, or a sickness, or another negative type of situation. Here are the details for the Orange Peel Blessing Ceremony, which in feng shui helps you to restore balance.

This is what you will need for the Orange Peel Blessing Ceremony:

* 3 oranges
* glass bowl
* fresh flowers
* hot water

Start by peeling the oranges. I adore the smell of fresh oranges! The smell alone can help bring freshness into your world. Break each one into 9 pieces.

Put all the orange pieces into your glass bowl.

Note that some people use the peel instead of the pieces, but I prefer the actual orange pieces for this ceremony.

Fill the bowl about 3/4 of the way with the hot water.

State what it is you want for your end result. So if I was recovering from the flu, I might say "With the Orange Peel Blessing Ceremony I bring a fresh state of health and happiness into this room". Now carry the bowl to the entry to the room or home, and starting there, walk through the area, flicking water from the bowl while repeating your desires.

Now pour the water over flowers or gardens, if you have them, or just out is fine. Enjoy the orange!

Open up the windows if possible, to let in the fresh, positive energy.

The flowers go into a visible location to remind you of your new, fresh focus. Replace those every three days for a total of nine days. Let the last set stay there until they begin to wilt.

Oranges are full of Vitamin C!
