Happy New Year! 2017
The new year has begun so we need to make plans. Let this be the year that all tatters attend at least one tat days event. And we have lots of choices.

April 1 is International Tatting Day.

Early May features the Shuttlebirds 2017 workshop of "A Flurry of Flakes," May 4-7, 2017. You can either register by regular or Snail mail (opens December 27 at noon (PST) and goes through March 27, 2017; or online (which also opens at noon (PST) on December 27 and goes through March 27, 2017, at 9 p.m. (PST).

Shuttlebirds Tatting Guild Scholarships are also available!!!! Applications will be accepted from now until March 1, 2017. Please go to Shuttlebirds.com and download the application. A great way to come and enjoy, even if funds are low.

Summer bring us the International Organization of Lacemakers, Inc. annual convention. The Liberty Lacers & International Organization of Lace, Inc. invite all tatters and other lacers to join them for the 64th Annual IOLI Convention

The Fringe Tatters in Canada are planning their big days in Cambridge, Ontario, on September 22nd and 23rd 2017 - They'll let you know in the e-newsletters about teachers and classes for the event so sign up for it at: fringetatters@gmail.com Theme for 2017: ``Bin there, Done Tat!!``

All guilds are welcome to send their info in and I will gladly share. I would be happy to hear from any groups overseas, too.
