Abbreviations: DS = double stitch
R = ring
SR = split ring
CH = Chain
+ = join
- = picot
DDS + double double stitch
clr = close ring
CTM = continuous thread method
ROUND 1: R1 = 9DS - 3DS. clr
R2 = 3DS + (R1) 6DS - 3DS. clr
R3 = 3DS + (R2) 9DS. clr
CH1 = 15DS + ( - R3/R2)
CH2 = 10DS +(- R2/R1)
CH3 = 15DS + (Base R1)
CH4 = 4DS - 4DS - 4DS - 4DS + ( - R1/R2)
CH5 = 4DS - 4DS - 4DS + ( - R2/R3)
CH6 = CH6 should read, 4 - 4 - 4 - 4 - 4 + (join at the base of ring 3 of the cloverleaf.
CH7 = 15DS
R4 = 3DS - 3DS + (3º - CH6 ) 3DS - 3DS. clr
R5 = 3DS + (R5) 3DS - 3DS - 3DS. clr
R6 = 3DS + (R5) 3DS - 3DS - 3DS. clr
CH8 = 18DS - 18DS + ( R4/R5/R6)
CH9 = 15DS
Repeat 4x by joining in the center.
Joining the squares: Start by joining the 3rd picot of the 2nd chain of the corner clover and then the 1st picot of the 3rd chain of the corner clover. Then join the picot of the central ring of the smaller clover. All squares are united following this scheme. See diagram
Corner: Start by joining the line with CTM in the 2nd ring of the lesser square clover.
CH1 = 7DS - 7DS + (4th picot of the 1st Chain of the corner clover)
CH2 = 7DS - 7DS + (1st picot of the 2nd Chain of the corner clover)
CH3 = 7DS - 7DS + (3rd picot of the 2nd Chain of the corner clover)
CH4 = 7DS - 7DS + (1st picot of the 3rd Chain of the corner clover)
CH5 = 7DS - 7DS + (picot of the 2nd ring of the minor clover).
ROUND 2: R = 5DS + (picot of the Round 1 Chain)
In the corner make 3 rings in the same picot of the Chain of Round 1). See diagram.
Work around the towel
ROUND 3: CH = 4 DS-2DS-2DS-2DS-2DS-4DS + (Picot of ROUND 2). Work around the towel.
ROUND 4: CH = 4DS ----- 4DS + (picot of ROUND 3). Work around the towel.
ROUND 1: R1 = 1DS-1DS (6X) clr. 1 MP
ROUND 2: R1 = 4DS-3DS-1DS / 4DS-3DS-1DS. clr
CH 1 = 7DS (FR (1 DS-1DS (6X) 7 DS
R2 = 1DS-3DS + (R1) 4DS + (picot ROUND 1) 4DS-3DS-1DS. clr. Repeat 6x
Flower Core: R1 = 5DS-10DS-5DS. clr
R2 = 5DS + (R1) 10DS-5DS. clr
R3 = 5DS + (R2) 10DS + (R1) 5DS. clr
Join the core of the flower with an bead.
Side Flower with Leaves:
R1 = 4DS - 4DS - -- --- -- - 4DS - 4DS. clr Repeat ( 5x )
(Note: the 5 center picots are graduated in size.)
Leaves: R1 = 20DDS - 20DDS. clr
CH1 = 2DS
R2 = 20DDS - 20DDS. clr
CH2 = 2DS
R3 = 20DDS - 20DDS. clr
Join to R1 base
Join flower and leaves with an bead
Small Flower: R1 = 1DS - 1DS ( 7X ).clr
Join the flower with an bead
