The day after Thanksgiving should be named an official holiday. It is the glorious day that we loyal shoppers know as Black Friday. It is one of the biggest shopping days of the entire year. Shoppers wake up at 3:00 am to stand in line for hours anticipating the opening of their favorite store. Some even camp out the day before to get the best bargains. It is the kick off of the holiday shopping season, and the day you can find the best deals on great looks.
If your thinking about venturing out this coming Black Friday to scout out some great outfits and accessories, make sure you come prepared. The number one rule of Black Friday is to have a game plan. The Thanksgiving newspaper will have all the ads you need, as well as Black Friday websites that post ads up to two weeks early. While browsing through the ads, pull out the ads that have worthwhile sales to you and set them aside. After looking through all ads, narrow it down to the items you will be purchasing. Next, figure out the opening times of the stores you will be visiting. Plan out what store you will go to first by evaluating its opening time and distance from you. It is best to arrive at stores an hour before opening time in order to get in line. Sale items go fast. If the item is something you are looking for, or really want, make it a priority to be at that store. Make sure to bring the ads with you to the stores, or have a shopping list with all the sale items you are wanting to purchase.
Feeling overwhelmed by the idea of shopping at an unbelievable early time? Most stores have great online shopping deals on Black Friday.
