2005 CMT Music Award Winners

2005 CMT Music Award Winners
They say the show must go on and boy did it! CMT was the place to be to see the big stars of today, yesterday and tomorrow perform and win awards.

In this viewers opinion this is one of the most important award shows, it isn't voted on by artists, producers or record industry people. It is the chance for fans to let the artists know exactly what we like and who we like. No critics can tell a fan who to vote for, that has to come from their own personal opinion.

With almost all the nominees performing, there were still a few surprises, perhaps the biggest being Trisha Yearwood making an appearance to perform her new single Georgia Rain.

The nine winners were:
CMT Music Awards Video of the Year
Keith Urban - "Days Go By"

CMT Music Awards Male Video of the Year
