  1. Question: Everyone knows the Henry Fonda Always played the good guy. However, there was one movie where he was cast as the villian. What movie is it?

    Answer: The movie is Once Upon a Time In the West (1969). It stars Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson Jason Robards, Woody Strode, Jack Elam, veteran actor Lionel Stander and one woman, Claudia Cardinelli. Fonda plays a cold-blooded psychopath who kills an entire family, including a child.


  2. Question: These days when people think of Charlton Heston they are likely to think of Moses. In what movie did Heston play a bigoted brother?

    Answer: The movie is Diamond Head (1962). It stars Charlton Heston, Yvette Mimieux, James Darren, France Nuyen, and George Chakiris. Heston's as wealthy 'King' Howland who has a long-time relationship and a child with an Hawaiian woman (Nuyen), but objects to his sister's affair.

  3. Question: In what movie did one of the character's say, "I don't know nuthin 'bout birthin babies? What was the character's name?, What is the character's real name?

    Answer: The name of the movie is Gone With the Wind, starring Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh. The character who uttered those now famous words is Prissy, played by Butterfly McQueen, real name Thelma. Another line from this movie that everyone remembers is "As God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again." Here is the full quote. "As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again. No, nor any of my folk. If I have to lie, steal, cheat or kill. As God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again."

  4. Question: Dr. Watson is to Sherlock Holmes as:

    • Answer: Dagwood is to Blondie . Dagwood is a comic strip character brought to life on the big screen, Blondie is his smarter and long-suffering wife. There were 25 or more "Blondie" movies made starring Penny Singleton and Arthur Lake. These are fun movies. Dagwood and Blondie Bumstead had a full life with Daisy, the dog and her family, their son Baby Dumpling, later called Alexander, and Dagwood's boss Mr. Dithers. These movies ran from 1938 to 1950. WOW! Penny Singleton went on to become Jane Jetson's voice. I believe that there was a Blondie televison series also. If you have information please let me know.

    • Answer: The Lone Ranger is to Tonto. Tonto was the Lone Ranger's faithful Indian companion. The Long Ranger was played by Clayton Moore, Tonto was played by Jay Silverheels. See information on Moore and a beautiful tribute site to Silverheels at your right.

    • Answer: George Burns is to Gracie Allen. Husband and wife Burns and Allen were originally a vaudeville team long before they appeared movies and on television.

    • Answer: Ozzie Nelson is to Harriet Nelson. The Nelson's had a television show with their two sons, David and Ricky. Ricky became famous singer Rick Nelson. Rick Nelson was killed in an airplane accident.

  5. Answer: The Bowery Boys were also called The East Side Kids and Dead End Kids Leo Gorcey headed up this odd ensemble of young actor's in these movies. There were some changes is the cast but Gorcey (Muggs) was the cornerstone of these low budget movies.
