Free Disabilities Newsletter

Welcome to the Disabilities Newsletter. You will find a box to subscribe on every page in the topic site. I hope all of you who have an interest in this subject will sign up. Even if you don't at the moment, you never know what you may learn that could be of value at some other time. There are some very positive things going on with people with disabilities and those who love and care for us. I hope you will join us to read the featured article this week on "people first language". It's so very important that we refer to ourselves and others with disabilities in a way that celebrates and reminds the world that we are people first. Also, please lend your opinions and discussion topics to our Disabilities Forum here: http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php

BellaOnline strictly adheres to a No Spam policy. Your email address will never be sold or used for anything other than the Disabilities Newsletter. If you do sign up, the only thing that you will ever receive in your inbox is what you have requested. You will of course receive a test email to determine that your spam filters do not have our site blocked. Should that problem arise please reset your spam filter so you never miss an issue of this newsletter.

I am always open to your valuable ideas and suggestions for the Disabilities Newsletter, Site and Forum. If there are any disability-related topics that you would like to see discussed here, please let me know. You may email me anytime. I'm here for you, my valuable readers!

I hope you will sign up for this free newsletter and tell your friends about it as well. In the coming issues, I will interview people with disabilities doing great things in their world. We will gain insight and perspective on some of the reading material in today's market for families of impacted by disability and get some insight on the stigmas and myths still held toward people with disabilities--yes, even in this our 21st Century! I hope to hear from you regarding how you are living and thriving with a disability or how knowing someone close to you with a disability has affected your life. Hopefully, we will learn some new ways to cope with life regardless of whether we acquired a disability from birth, later on due to illness or injury and as find out how others maintain balance and joy in our lives.

Remember, you can sign up without having to be concerned that you will ever be spammed or that your email address will be sold. All information is kept completely private because we highly respect your right to privacy. Please make sure you sign up with your correct email address and look for the confirmation email that comes to your email immediately afterward to confirm the email address is correct. If you do not receive a confirmation notice in email, please sign up for the newsletter again correctly.
