For the up and coming singer/dancer/song writing artist Irina, the determination to make her mark in the dance clubs of America was something that she considers a lifelong passion. Already being remixed by some of the industries most notable DJ’s, Irina Shapiro is truly on the path to achieving her long-time pop ambitions.

Originally from Moscow and preparing for this opportunity from a young age by studying dance and music after discovering house music and electro/pop while clubbing, Irina now lives in Miami where she has been working hard to achieve her dream within the music industry. Inspired by musical greats such as Stevie Nicks, Madonna, Michael Jackson, as well as electro masters like David Guetta, Benny Benassi, and Erick Morillo, Irina’s main goal is to create slick, sexy and supercharged dance music with a fierceness and passion of three different music styles – electronica, pop, and rock and roll.

Irina’s debut EP album was released on September 18, 2012 through Citrusonic Stereophonic and is titled Something About You Remixes. The singer’s strong vocals and pop instincts bring her to a dance-music powerhouse status with this EP. The album’s title track “Something About You” combines pulsating beats and synthesizer that are both hypnotic and irresistible. The sensually charged vocals have a dreamy pop vibe and rhythm, as well as an overall positive energy about them. This song will definitely get stuck in your head and have you humming all day long! With her album currently being played in clubs around the world, Irina says that Something About You is about “someone that is searching for something extraordinary, wild and unbelievable, for someone who can give you an instant shot of adrenaline… someone who can drag you into the crazy adventure of immediate love.”

Along with her upcoming country wide tour dates, Irina plans to create stage shows that combine plenty of choreography and wild costumes; she plans to develop dance elements that are cool, sexy, intense, as well as “spectacle-like” for all of her performances.
