Casino Royale - James Bond Casino Royal – 2006 Starring Daniel Craig as James Bond. This is Daniel Craig's first attempt at James Bond, and he does a terrific job. Bond starts off without his license to kill, which he quickly achieves this after two assignations. His first mission as 007, he goes after a man named Le Chiffre, played by Mads Mikkelsen, a banker for many terrorists. Le Chiffre is playing in a high stakes poker game to win back his money to avoid detrimental consequences from these wretched people. 007 is sent to keep Le Chiffre from winning, with the aid of Vesper Lynd, played by Eva Green who poses as his wife. Together they face danger and even torture from of Le Chiffre. Bond must make a decision, if he wins the poker game could it mean Vespers life? Daniel Craig is awesome as James Bond. Besides, Daniel Craig is so hot, what’s not to like. That aside, here are the mistakes I found. When Bond is at the Miami airport the truck he is driving gets shot at, taking out the back tires. When he finally gets the truck to a stop the tires are fully inflated. When Dimitri played by, Simon Abkarian, is at the Miami Body World Exhibit his luggage tag keeps changing positions between different scenes. When Bond and Vesper are on the train and seated across from each other, if you watch during the second half of the scene Vesper’s arm rests are down. As the scene progresses and it shows her and Bond up close her armrests go up. When Bond is naked and being tortured in the bottomless wicker chair the blood on the right side of his face it runs down in a solid line. In the next scene it shows the blood as a smear on his right cheek. Later again it shows the blood as a straight line. This seems to happen more than once. When Bond and Vesper are lying on the beach towards the end of the movie, it shows Bond with sand on his back. As the kissing starts it shows Bond from a short distance and it appears that he has no sand on his back. I will admit I was a bit skeptical of Daniel Craig as James Bond, but after seeing him in action I no longer have any fears. I believe that he is the best Bond to date, since Sean Connery of course. | Related Articles | Previous Features | Site Map
