Gemstones Radiate Calming Energy, Often Displayed in Spas with Guide to Special Qualities
Guest Author - Rachel Rome

At the enchanting holistic day spa Terme Di Aroma, a holistic day spa at 32 North Third Street, in Philadelphia's Historic Section, I was so impressed with the gorgeous sculptural amethyst tree, along with other gemstones in the case, I just wanted to stare at the gemstones. After a long time of looking at the tree, while, feeling foolish, I asked the owner if I was unusualy, and he assured me I wasn't, that gemstones have special qualities.

Thinking about it, I recalled the many spas I have visited also sold and displayed gemstones, which can bring serenity, wisdom and calm to those who wear and display them. Gemstone jewelry, such as earrings, pendants, bracelets -- also looks good! Below is a list of gemstones and quality, and all are sold -- inexpensively -- on the website silvergemshop.com, which my son set up after his return home from the Peace Corps,to help support his village and friends in Nepal,. Every day, I select a different stone to wear depending on my mood. Turquoise, amethyst, citrine, garnet, moonstone, carnelian and coral are some of my healing favorites.

Below is more informatiaon on specific gemstones.
