Brief History: The Voluptuous Woman Company (VWC) was born in 1997 "to celebrate the plus-size woman by providing information and visibility for them". The base operation works out of Maryland. In 2003 they added apparel and accessories to their repertoire. In July 2005 they created their first product, a bath wrap, for obvious reasons. There isn’t a proper towel without dolphins on it to wrap around our bodies.
Product: The Voluptuous Bath Wrap
Description: 100% white terry velour fabric. It measures 75 inches wide and 35 inches long and has a heavy duty 1" x 5" Velcro to secure in front. It is elasticized at one end to aid in wrapping. Made to fit sizes 14 - 28 with a bust up to 52”. Nicely stitched and reinforced.

Comments: The towel material is very plush 100% terry velour fabric. I’ve never seen this type of terry. I'm looking forward to using it even more in the colder months. I've always hated stepping out of a warm shower and quickly wrapping myself in a bath towel that doesn't fit my body. In winter I have to rush to get out of the bathroom. It's pretty warm here at the moment but I just slipped it around my waist when I became too warm. I’ve washed it twice with my regular white towels and put it in the dryer. There was a tiny bit of shrinkage but the towel is long enough that there is no peek-a-boo-age. It’s pricier than I expected but it’s not like you will need more than one or two and I have a feeling, if taken care of it will last more than a few years. Like all Velcro if you don’t close it before you wash it, it probably won’t hold up.
Satisfaction: High! I'll tell you right off, this is going to at the top of my recommended products. I'm 5'8" 300+lbs and this wrap covered all the vital parts securely. I’ve even fallen asleep in it. I'm sure it will be one of their best sellers. I’m hoping they’ll consider making a robe with the same fabric. Treat yourself and spread the word. Be sure to let the spas in your area know so you don't have to feel embarrassed or carry your own with you.
