Red Hair - Vibrant or Subtle, but Always Exciting

Lets talk about red hair.
It is most flattering to creamy light complexion although it also works well with complexions of medium warm tones. It looks very natural with brown or green eyes and can cause blue eyes to be amazing.

Red hair comes and goes on the popularity scale although in recent years it has stayed at the top, perhaps because individuality has been the mark of recent modern culture. It is the ‘brightest’ of hair colors, the wearer can never fade into the background or remain inconspicuous. Because natural hair color fades with age, the red hair wearer is often percieved as younger. Red hair is seen as romantic, sultry, overtly sexy or outrageous, but rarely boring.
Below are a few famous redhead actresses. Click on each name for more information.
Rita Hayworth, Lucille Ball, Debra Messing, Nicole Kidman, Carmen Electra, Julianne Moore, and Julia Roberts
Bonnie Raitt.
My hair too!

Protect Your Red!
If your hair is tinted, be sure protect your beautiful red hair color. Always use good quality, color safe shampoo and conditioner. All hair color can be altered by the sun, but your red is sure to lose its vibrancy with too much exposure. The brilliant hues will fade easily. Use products that contain sunscreen or UV protectant at all times and anytime that you will be in the sun for an extended period of time, wear a hat.
