Review - Back to Nature's Silk Serum Collection for hair
I tested some products this week that appealed to all my senses. It was Back to Nature’s Culinary Silk Serum Collection. It consists of four lusciously scented serums called Strawberry-Kiwi Truffle , Key Lime Pie , Chocolate Chip Mint Sorbet and Berries & Cream.

They are said to hydrate, condition and nurture dry, damaged hair. The first test I did was the sniff test. Each serum smells true to its name and good enough to eat.

The first serum I tried was Key Lime Pie, which happens to by my favorite desert. I love the scent of lime.
My hair is thick, fine and curly. It tends to frizz in humidity and the weather was unseasonable humid that weekend so I was a little hesitant, not wanting a bad-hair-day.

I shampooed and conditioned my hair as usual, towel dried it and applied the serum. I used about a dime-sized amount and distributed it throughout my hair. I was pleasantly surprised.

The brush moved through my hair easily while I was blowing it dry smoothed out easily. My hair was soft and silky, yet still had body and texture. It is important to me that my hairstyle lasts more than one day. The next day, without a shampoo, my hair was still in good shape.

Two days later I chose tried my next favorite flavor, Chocolate Chip Mint Sorbet. I was more comfortable with it this time and used it with confidence. I had the same pleasant results.

My hair has natural body so this is the only product I used on it on during the tests. If you want more control, you may want to use hair gel or styling foam.

Each of the serums smelled wonderful – making my mouth water! They all left my hair feeling very soft and silky against my skin. My hair looked beautiful with glossy shine, body and texture.

These products have a slight build up after several uses. I suggest using an extra-cleansing or clarifying shampoo once a week to take care of the problem.
