Carol Grigg - Horse Cave Painting

Southwestern art is not just about cactus or rodeo cowboys. It takes a special artist to redefine Horse Cave Paintings into art we can use everyday. The subtle beauty of texture and color found in the paintings of Carol Grigg are seen extensively in Southwest USA home decorating. The posters available can be framed with worn black or rustic barn wood. Jewel tones and the colors of nature are woven in subtle watercolors enhanced by their simplicity.

Carol Grigg is a world renowned artist. Her images are seen on posters, calendars and t-shirts. Her original art is international recognized and highly sought after. She consistently produces works that take your breath away. He art is often imitated, but the images she creates can not be replaced.

Carol was born in Oregon, a child of the 60's which seems to have given her courage to use her talents to make a difference. She has championed the Native American. Her art is of Eastern cultures, primitive cultures and the prehistoric art of man.

She is drawn to the art of Eastern cultures, primitive cultures and the prehistoric art of man. She was obviously influenced by the cave paintings of animals such as those found in Lascaux, France. One of her particularly beautiful renditions of cave paintings is Primal Skin, Crossing I.
